GOT TURKEYS?
The DEC is looking for landowners to help with the first major field assessment of wild turkey management in NY State since the 1970's.
DEC will partner with National Wild Turkey Federation starting in January 2006 and continuing through March 2008 to conduct a four year study, in which turkeys will be fitted with leg bands. Club member Albert Page was the Weigh Master at the Ice Fishing Contest Jan 28, 2006 at Lake Pleasant. Many nice Brown Trout, Perch, and Pickerel were caught.

Ice Fishing is a major interest at the Speculator- Lake Pleasant- Piseco Fish and Game Club. Above, Piseco Lake, one of several good lakes in Hamilton County offers Lake Trout and Salmon for those who can bare the cold.
